Car Vids: Watch The Wreckage Of The World’s Most Expensive Car Crash

Bad car accidents are usually tragic, with global statistics pointing out that auto accidents result 1.3 million deaths a year. The stats don’t stop there,as a colossal 20-50 million people are injured or yearly in auto accidents. No wonder then people have gone as far as calling cars the real weapons of mass destruction. However, most of the accidents are to be blamed on human error rather than the machines themselves

Back in December, 2011, in the land of the rising sun, there was a crash of catastrophic proportions that a video of which surfaced that lit up the internet. All the cars, with the exception of one lonely Prius, were exotic supercars. This included eight Ferraris, one Mercedes Benz and a Lamborghini. The accident happened on the Chugoku highway in Western Japan. The total damage was said to be in the region of $ 4 million and a single driver error was to blame (hate to be that guy). Amazingly though, no one was seriously hurt.

If you tend to rubberneck on the highway when you pass a smash (as we all so, admit it ;)) you’ll love this video
